Kennel project

Paul Laban in charge for the St.Helena SPCA of dogs training & public awareness is now working to settle on the island a kennel structure.

The aims

1) Provide fully trained specialised working dogs for use by Police / Security / Customs i.e. Narcotics search, GP's, and later AES

2) Training facilities for above and basic training for island dogs

3) Breeding Program for specialised working dogs

4) Housing for specialised working dogs and boarding facilities for local pet dogs

4) Homing facilities for stray/neglected dogs and,

5) Homing for dogs recuperating from surgery.

The needs

Two acres of land, preferably flat with accommodation included.

Financial support in respect of building of kennels and equipment.
